Facts About Surah Ahzab. Surah Ahzab is the 33rd surah that Allah revealed to the Prophet in the city of Medina. The surah is called Ahzab as it refers to the Battle of Ahzab or Trench that took place in the year 5 AH. Verse 21 of surah Ahzab says that there is a good example in the Noble Prophet, and therefore Muslims must follow his example.
